The Boozy Book Club is doing Fringe by the Sea!!!
Does it count as being on tour if it's in your hometown??? I feel like it does, if you are going from being live on zoom to being live in front of real-life people. It's exciting, exhilarating and excruciatingly scary!!!
As soon as I saw there was a book called The Bass Rock, I was intrigued and as soon as I had read it I knew I wanted to put it in a Boozy Book Club Box. Then when FBTS asked if The Boozy Book Club wanted to do a live author event in the newly refurbished Marine Hotel's Cocktail Lounge, I knew if Evie Wyld, the author, could come, it would all be too perfect.
And that's exactly what has happened. Evie Wyld's book is going in our August Box and we will have our usual online meet-up with her, but on top of that, she is also coming to chat with us, in person, and sip cocktails in North Berwick as part of The Fringe by the Sea Programme.
This is going to be special & swanky!!!
The Fringe by the Sea tickets for The Boozy Book Club meets Evie Wyld include a cocktail with us in the sumptuous surroundings of the Marine. I don't think I'll want to leave. Because of the exclusivity of our venue, tickets are restricted so if you want to come join in the fun, get yours asap. We so want to see some familiar faces there.
We have gone live on our website with a Special Fringe by the Sea Boozy Book Club Box, which you can pre-order to pick up at the event and have your book signed by the author. This one is only for people who have bought a ticket to come to the event.
Our usual Box with this book will be available to order online at the end of this month and will be posted out, with the online zoom meet with Evie on Thursday 30th September.
